There’s a fairly new place along Veteran’s Drive in Busay that got my attention for its humble blue-colored facade and visiting them proved to be a good decision for the very laid-back dining experience that I had. Everyone, say hello to Fabio’s Kitchen!

Humble blue facade.
Welcome to Fabio’s!

Fabio’s is a new player to Cebu’s dining scene, having opened its doors to the public in early April. If you’re wondering where they are located, they are actually along the road on your ascend to Temple of Leah. Going up, they’re on the left side. It isn’t one to miss for they have their signature blue facade.

Good food + good view = Fabio’s

The space is small actually — one that reminds me of cabin in the woods — but fret not, they serve sumptuous meals and offer you a quite “ME” time with the food of your choice. This place is best for when you want to take it slow after a week’s worth of office hustling or if you want to recharge ahead for another work week.

Fabio’s menu has the following offerings: Starters, Sandwich, Pizza, Pasta, Rice Specials, and Breakfast, along with drinks such as lemonade, iced tea, soda, spirits, and coffee.

I ordered Lemon Iced Tea, Margheritta Pizza, and Honey Sriracha Wings (and no, I didn’t eat all of it. I was with my friend, Lorraine). We had a great time enjoying the mountainous view of Busay on a Sunday afternoon, catching up on life and all things #adulting. Their staff were very accommodating and courteous to us, which made the visit even more satisfying.

During our visit, they still did not have WiFi and that’s perfectly fine. Who would want to keep being glued to their phones when there’s a very good view and good food to enjoy? Not me.
